The school has implemented a structured approach to Literacy which focuses on the six core literacy elements of Oral Language, Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary and Comprehension. Sounds-Write is the junior phonics program and Spelling Mastery is taught from Years 3 to 6.
